IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR BANDS  PERFORMING @ FTA III

YOUR ARRIVAL:

Gates are open from 7am to midnight and although someone will be at the main entrance gate 24 hours please try to arrive before sunset.  Setting up camp in the dark is not a good idea and some areas of the campgrounds are not will lit so please keep this in mind.

When you arrive at the main gate/ticket trailer you will receive your wristbands, car pass stage load in load out instructions for your band.  FTA reps will be able to assist you in any questions you might have at that time.   Camping areas are first come first serve and there are NO guest lists or free tickets for your merch person unless already discussed in advance.

******IMPORTANT SIGNS WILL BE POSTED ON THE ROADS TO HELP GET YOU TO THE EVENT STARTING AT LAMB ROAD AND IL ROUTE 1.

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THESE SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS ALONG WITH THE SIGNS TO HELP GUIDE YOU TO THE EVENT QUICKLY.  

From St. Louis, MO

Take I-64 east to I-57 south. At Marion take Rt. 13 east to Rt. 1. Go south on Rt. 1 approximately 18 miles to Lamb Rd. (You will be 2 miles north of the Ohio River ferry at Cave-in-Rock.) Turn left on Lamb Rd. and follow the FTA signs (approx. 5 miles).

From Chicago, IL

Take I-57 south to Rt. 13 at Marion (approx 250 miles). At Marion, take RT. 13 East to RT. 1. Go South on Rt. 1 approximately 18 miles to Lamb Rd. (You will be 2 miles north of the Ohio River ferry at Cave-in-Rock.) Turn left on Lamb Rd. and follow the FTA signs (approx. 5 miles).

From Evansville, IN

Take I-64 West to Rt 1 South.  Go South on RT. 1 approximately 18 miles to Lamb Rd. (You will be 2 miles north of the Ohio River ferry at Cave-in-Rock.) Turn left on Lamb Rd. and follow the FTA signs (approx. 5 miles).

From Nashville, TN

Can take I-24 to Rt 146. Take 146 east. Follow 146 thru Golconda to Elizabethtown to Rt. 1. Go north on RT. 1 (1/4 mile) and turn right on Lamb Rd. Follow the FTA signs. Or take I-24 to Eddyville and take 641 to Marion, KY. In Marion, take 91 to the river and Cave-in-Rock ferry. (The ferry is FREE!) When you get off the ferry you are on IL RT.1 . Go north approximately 2 miles to Lamb Rd. and turn right. Follow the FTA signs!

*You have total artist freedom during your performance

*You will need to check in at your stage 1 hour before performing

*You will be able to drive your vehicle to your stage to unload and then load out but yourvehicle  cannot stay by stage please follow the load in and load out instructions you receive when you check in.

*You can use your own equipment but any setup delays will be reduced from your set

*Backline will be available if you want to use it see the list attached for each stage

*EACH BAND CAN SELL MERCHANDISE EVERYDAY OF FESTIVAL

*FTA COLLECTS 0% OF YOUR SALES YOU KEEP IT ALL.  IF YOU WANT US TO SELL YOUR MERCH WE WILL DO THAT BUT IT WILL COST YOU 15% COMMISSION TO COVER CREW EXPENSES.

*WE WILL HAVE A 30X60 FOOT MERCH TENT BUT IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN CANOPY TENT THAT WOULD BE GREAT TO BRING AS WELL.  IF YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN TABLE AND CHAIRS IT WOULD HELP.  PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THAT IS POSSIBLE.  POWER IS AVAILBLE IN THE 30X60 TENT AND SELECT AREAS AROUND IT.

 

ACCOMDATIONS

*SHOWERS ARE HOT AND FREE SO CHECK THE FTA MAP FOR THE LOCATION

*ICE AND FIREWOOD IS SOLD ON SITE

*IF YOU DON’T WANT TO CAMP THERE ARE HOTELS FAIRLY CLOSE APPROX 40 MIN BUT BE CAREFUL DRIVING AND DON’T DRIVE AND DRIVE AT ALL HAVE A SOBER DRIVER.  YOU ARE WELCOME TO COME TO PRE PARTY FREE AND CAMPING FOR ENTIRE FEST IS ALSO FREE FOR BANDS

*THERE IS A SPOT FOR PEOPLE TO GET FRESH FREE WATER ON SITE SO BRING PLENTY OF BOTTLED WATER OR SOMETHING TO FILL UP.

*KEEP YOUR EQUIPMENT AND VALUEABLES LOCKED UP IN VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES.

 

YOUR DEPARTURE

EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE OFF THE CAMPGROUNDS BY 3:00PM SUNDAY AUGUST 28TH

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING AND MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE YOUR CAMPSITE LIKE YOU FOUND IT CLEAN!!!

IF YOU ARE LEAVING BY PLANE SHUTTLE TIMES TO THE AIRPORT WILL BE WORKED OUT IN ADVANCE AND CONFIRMED ON ARRIVAL.
